The tea is harvested fresh every April to September which included a large celebration at the peak of the annual harvest. Gorreana’s single estate organic green & black teas have been in continued production since 1883.

I love Cha Gorreana tea: I love the taste, their story, and that it’s the tea that my parents and grandparents and great grandparents drank. They’re located in Porto Formoso, on the northern side of the island of Sao Miguel in a majestic setting by the sea. A place as lovely as this just has to produce something magical, and they do! To sit with a cup of Cha Gorreana tea with a biscuit is one of life’s greatest pleasures!
