Pão de Linguiça / Chouriço

I just love to hear back from everyone regarding recipes made from my posts…
On this post they added roasted red peppers and caramelized onions to the recipe…and it looks Amazing!!


Eggs: 4
Milk: 1 cup
Extra virgin olive oil: 4 tablespoons
Flour: 2 Cups
Baking powder: 1 Teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
1 lb of Chouriço or Linguica sausage


Cut the sausage in small rounds and sauté for a few minutes and leave aside.
In a large bowl beat together with electric mixer the eggs with the milk, add the olive oil and beat a few more minutes. Then finally add the flour, baking powder and salt a little at a time. Beat well and finally add the chorizo, mix together by hand.
Grease a 8×8 pan with butter and sprinkle with flour.
Pour batter into pan and bake for 45-55 minutes at 350 °F. or until golden and inserted toothpick comes out clean.
